How can I collect fees using QR Code or UPI?

Prerequisites

• The school must have either Razorpay or Atom as the payment gateway (PG).
• QR code payments must be enabled in the payment gateway.

If the QR Code feature is already enabled, follow the steps below.

Steps to collect fees using QR Code/UPI :

1. Navigate to Finance > Fee > Collect Fee.
2. Search for the student whose fee needs to be collected.
3. Proceed to Payment modes screen
4. Locate the ‘QR Code’ option. You will see two sections:
   • Generate QR Code – To collect the fees via QR/UPI mode.
   • Capture QR Code Transaction – To record payments already made via QR Code/UPI.
5. Choose Generate QR Code, and click Proceed to launch the Razorpay / Atom screen.
6. Display the QR code to the parent for scanning and payment.
7. Alternatively, you can use the parent’s UPI ID to request payment online.
   • Tip: This is useful if the parent is at home and prefers to pay via a UPI app.

Payment Confirmation

• Once the payment is successful, a receipt will be generated and will be available for both the school and parents.
• Parents can view and download the receipt from the NextOS mobile app.
