How to create rubrics under the subject activity?

> Examination > Exam Hierarchy

  1. Select a Class for which exam hierarchy needs to be configured.
    INFO DISPLAYED

    • Mandatory:  Indicates that it is mandatory to pass
    • Group: Indicates the group of Terms, Assessments, Subjects, Subject activities  or Rubrics
    • Scholastic: Indicates the scholastic assessments, subject, subject activities or rubrics
    • Co-scholastic: Indicates the co-scholastic assessments, subject, subject activities or rubrics
    • Missing Configuration: Indicates that the hierarchy is not set till the level of subject activity for the term, assessment, subject, subject activity or rubric.
  2. Click the Academic Session name (Ex: 2017-18). The academic Terms and groups created will be displayed under the selected academic session.
  3. Click the required Term or the group of terms. The assessments or group of assessments under the selected term will be displayed.
  4. Click the required Assessment or the group of assessments. The subjects linked to the selected assessment or group of assessments will be displayed.
  5. Click the subject under which the rubrics need to be defined.
  6. Click Add Level in the rubrics level. The pop-up window to create rubrics for the subject activity will appear.
  7. Turn on the toggle to make it mandatory for the students to pass the subject activity.
  8. Enter the Name of the rubric.
  9. Enter a Short Name by which you wish to identify the rubric.
  10. Enter a Sequence No. by which the rubrics will be listed in the report card.
  11. Select a Start Date and End Date for entering marks in rubrics.
  12. Click PROCEED.
  13. Select an input type.
  14. Select a grade system for determining the scores in the rubric (Example: CBSE Scholastic).
    NOTE
    You can create your own logic for grade system from > Grade System > Custom Logic.
  15. Enter cut-off %.
  16. Click PROCEED.
  17. Turn on the toggle for adding distinction and add the distinction grade from the drop-down menu.
    To add sub rubrics to the rubric for assessing the performance of rubrics,
  18. Click Add.
  19. Provide the Calculation Logic of the sub rubrics.
    Under advanced settings,
  20. Select the sub rubrics to be considered for the calculation.
  21. Select the sub rubrics are to be made mandatory to pass in the rubric.
  22. Click FINISH.
